This
exceptional young stallion, imported from Cumbria in the north of England in
2005, is sired by the 2005 Fell Pony Society Champion Ridden Stallion, Lunesdale
Prince Albert. His Grand Sire, Rylestone Black Knight (now deceased) also had
many show ring successes, including Supreme M&M In-hand Champion at the
Hertfordshire County show in 2004 and later that year, qualifying for the Horse
of the Year Show at the Royal Welsh Show. Out of Restar Mountain Dolly,
Littletree Sirius Black is black with no markings and shows superb quality in
conformation, movement and temperament. He possesses over 8 inches of good flat

Littletree Fell Pony Stud in Cumbria, England to gain his Fell Pony Society
stallion license. Littletree Highway encompasses athleticism, excellent
conformation, fantastic legs with over 8 inches of good flat bone, flowing
movement with great suspension and wonderful hock action. Littletree Highwayman,
is out of the highly regarded broodmare, Lunesdale Gypsy Rose, who has had a
very successful show career and continues to win in the ring.
Littletree

who has also had a successful show career. His credits include taking the
Reserve Champion at the Royal Show in the UK in 1991, Reserve Youngstock
Champion at the Fell Pony Society Stallion Show in 1992, a class winner at the
2002 Fell Pony Society Stallion Show and the 2004 Stallion Champion and Champion
of the Year 2004 at the Austrian Pony Show. Lunesdale Mountain Mist now resides
in the Checz Republic and an image of him can be seen on our "Gallery"

Imported
to the US in 2005, Littletree Highwayman will be among the very few grey Fell
Pony stallions currently in the United States. Grey Fell Ponies are born dark
and slowly become grey over several years as they mature. An excellent example
of a mature grey stallion is Highwayman's grandsire, Lunesdale Mountain Mist
pictured on our "Gallery"
page.
Littletree Highwayman is trained by Ann-Marie Lavellee, also known as "The Traveling Trainer", who has built a wonderful relationship with "Ned" and he is showing incredible ability under saddle. Ann-Marie has an understanding for the unique Fell temperament and Scafell Pike Fell Pony Stud highly recommends her services. Please visit thetravelingtrainer.net for more information.
